Please note that the URNCST Journal only publishes select full articles resulting from:
Unsolicited manuscripts are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure quality submissions. If you wish to submit an unsolicited manuscript, please contact the editor at editorialboard@urncstuk.org to discuss the suitability of your article before making a submission.
Unsolicited manuscript submissions that have not been approved by the editor will be subject to immediate rejection. All manuscripts must be submitted online by one of the authors of the manuscript and should not be submitted by anyone on their behalf. The submitting author takes full responsibility for the article during submission and peer-review.
To minimize the time taken from submission to publication decision, authors are strongly advised to read these submission instructions carefully and ensure that manuscripts adhere to URNCST Journal formatting guidelines.
The URNCST Journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding academic misconduct. It is the responsibility of every author to ensure their work is free from plagiarism and improper citation practices. Purdue University’s Purdue Online Writing Lab is an excellent resource for improving academic writing, and authors are encouraged to review it prior to submission.
As part of the submission process, authors are required to submit a cover letter. This letter should explain why the manuscript should be published in the URNCST Journal, disclose any potential conflicts of interest, address editorial policy considerations, and state whether the research may be published elsewhere in the future.
Many research papers represent a portion of a larger graduate or faculty research project. Publishing in the URNCST Journal does not prevent future publication of overlapping work in another journal. However, manuscripts that have already been published elsewhere are not eligible for publication in the URNCST Journal.
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format only (DOC or DOCX).
The URNCST Journal currently accepts the following types of submissions:
Articles produced through participation in the URNCST Journal Mentored Paper initiative fall under the Review Research Paper or Research Protocol categories. Authors are encouraged to review the specific guidelines related to their manuscript type before submission.
