This perennial, creeping, and slightly scented medicinal plant is utilized all throughout the globe. Bangladesh, India, China, Nepal, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and many more places in the tropics and subtropics have it. People say that the herb may help with a variety of skin disorders, such as leprosy, lupus, varicose ulcers, eczema, psoriasis, and illnesses of the female genitourinary system. It can also help with anxiety and memory. Science has confirmed the bioactive components and encouraged many applications. To provide a brief overview of this plant, we have looked at old texts to see whether C. asiatica has any medical use. We attempted to juxtapose discoveries from ancient literature with our practical experiences and ideas within the context of Bangladesh.
