Abstract

We know about commerce; now we need to learn about business. The word "business" indicates "being busy" in a literary sense. Technically, this means moving things from where they are made to the people who will use them. Thomas said, "Commercial occupations deal with buying and selling goods, exchanging goods, and getting the finished goods to the right people." Business is described as the activities that supply products and services to people in order to make money. For example, a manufacturer or producer. When we talk about "Commerce" and "Business" in our everyday lives, we usually mean companies that turn raw materials into semi-finished or completed goods. For example, a firm that turns cane sugar into sugar that we can use in our daily lives or a company that extracts coal.

We don't usually conceive of them as separate terms, therefore we frequently use them interchangeably based on what we need and what makes us feel comfortable. These words are quite similar, yet they mean various things when we look at them from different angles. Gas or oil from the bottom to the top of the earth to make money are all business activities. Commercial activities include buying and selling goods, providing services, and moving goods and merchandise for profit. We may now say that business is legitimate activity done to make money.
