HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
AI in HR will come up in almost every article on "HR trends for 2018." Digital HR, or the digitization of HR, is another issue that will almost likely be on these trend lists. What does it really imply, however, other than being a fashionable, current word? In academic writing, expressions like "digital human resource management," "digital revolution of human resource management," and "digital distraction of human resource management" are becoming increasingly common. Despite this, these ideas are often utilized in a manner that is multiplicative, variable, and not always clear. Because of this, these thoughts don't have the "conceptual clarity" that is essential for study.
"Digital disruption," "digital transformation," and "digitalization" are some of the most used and popular terms right now. In general, these themes mean that technology is being used more and that there have been big changes in business and society that are tied to it. It is important to make sure that digital HRM is more than simply "new names for old things." Otherwise, new concepts only replace old ones that are already well-known, like the well-known notion of electronic (e-) HRM.
