Abstract

Adopting innovative agricultural technology is very important for decreasing poverty and making sure people have enough food in emerging economies. Even though people know how important it is, smallholder farmers in poor countries typically have trouble using new technology, which slows down the process. This study aims to elucidate the variables influencing the use of agricultural technology in these countries by reviewing prior studies on technology adoption. The study's findings underscore several critical factors influencing the adoption of agricultural technology, encompassing aspects related to the technology itself, the economic circumstances of farmers, their institutional and organizational affiliations, and specific household characteristics. To fully understand the challenges of adopting agricultural technology, future study should include the viewpoints and experiences of farmers. By taking into account how they feel about new technology, the many things that affect. The objective of this research is to enhance understanding of the obstacles encountered by smallholder farmers in the adoption of new technology and to pinpoint avenues for development. By examining their opinions of new technologies, the array of variables affecting technology adoption may be expanded, yielding a more thorough comprehension of the topic.
