Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned if they do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it currently under consideration by another journal.
  • For Authors: I have downloaded the URNCST Journal Manuscript Template and ensured that my manuscript follows the guidelines outlined in the “Instructions for Authors” webpage.
    For Conference Planners: I have downloaded the URNCST Journal Abstract Conference Book Template and ensured that my submission follows the guidelines outlined in the “Instructions for Conference Planners” webpage.
  • I understand that while there is no fee associated with submission, in the case of acceptance, my co-author(s) and/or I will be responsible for any applicable publication fee levied by the URNCST Journal.
  • By checking this box, I confirm that as the corresponding author either: (1) I am the sole author of this manuscript, or (2) I have obtained consent from ALL co-authors to submit this manuscript. I understand that failure to obtain co-author consent constitutes academic misconduct.

Author Guidelines

If you are a student submitting a manuscript, please ensure that you have read the Instructions for Authors and downloaded the appropriate manuscript template prior to beginning the submission process.

The Journal typically publishes articles written by individual researchers only if they were selected to submit an article at a research conference whose abstract book was published by the URNCST Journal, or if the article results from abstracts accepted through the URNCST Journal Mentored Paper or the URNCST Journal Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Encyclopedia Entry Initiative.

Unsolicited manuscript submissions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Authors must first contact the editor at manuscript@urncstuk.org to discuss suitability and obtain approval before submission. Solicited or unsolicited manuscripts submitted without prior approval will be subject to immediate rejection or acceptance at the editor’s discretion.

If you are a conference planner submitting a conference abstract booklet on behalf of a research conference, please ensure that you have contacted the editorial office at manuscript@urncstuk.org , reviewed the Instructions for Conference Planners , and downloaded the URNCST Journal Abstract Conference Book Template prior to submission.
