Abstract
COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, is spreading swiftly in China and across the world. Pharmacy services are an essential part of public health that helps stop and control the COVID-19 outbreak. Chinese pharmacists have acted quickly in the country's public health response. For example, they have written professional service guidelines for pharmacists and pharmacies, set up emergency drug formularies, kept an eye on and fixed drug shortages, set up remote pharmacy services to stop the spread of infections between people, provided event-driven pharmaceutical care, taught the public how to avoid infections and manage diseases, and taken part in clinical trials and drug evaluations. This article talks about the special demands of pharmacy services during the COVID-19 epidemic and how we worked with pharmacies throughout the world to meet those needs.
