Abstract

It has been shown that educational games are a useful teaching tool in nursing and medical education.

to assess how well online cardiac pharmacology games, engage and inspire pharmacy students to study the subject and apply what they have learned. Based on the order of the lectures that were given in class, quiz questions that were taken from the lecture notes were shown in three different games. In order to supplement classroom instruction, each game was made available to students at a set time. In order to get student opinions on the games, a survey was administered. The questionnaires were filled out by thirty students (19.7% response rate). The vast majority of students said that the games were entertaining, captivating, and engaging, and that they had enhanced their comprehension of the topic's underlying ideas and concepts. Over 90% of students agreed that the game was a creative approach to learning the content. Students were inspired and engaged by well-designed online instructional games.
