Abstract
The integration of multirotor drone technologies has revolutionized construction management by enhancing efficiency, precision, and safety across various project stages. This paper explores the diverse applications of multirotor drones in construction, including site surveying, progress monitoring, material management, safety inspections, and as-built documentation. Equipped with high-resolution cameras and advanced sensors, drones enable real-time data collection, facilitating accurate 3D mapping, volumetric analysis, and topographical surveys. Additionally, their ability to access hard-to-reach areas improves safety by reducing human exposure to hazardous conditions. Multirotor drones also support efficient resource allocation through detailed aerial imagery and thermal scanning for energy audits. The study highlights case studies where drones have significantly reduced project timelines and costs, proving their value in modern construction practices. Challenges such as regulatory restrictions, technical limitations, and data processing requirements are also discussed, offering insights into optimizing drone technology in the construction industry.
